SENIOR FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER - CREATIVE DESIGN AGENCY

This role is with an award winning creative design agency that is expanding quickly and due to continued growth is currently seeking an experienced and creative Web Developer to join the team.
This role would suit an enthusiastic and proactive developer looking to work across an outstanding client portfolio in a dynamic environment. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior front End Web Developer
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Web Developer will:
- Be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining websites for a range of clients. This will involve an element of maintenance and user support for delivered projects.
- Provide accurate time estimates on work.
- Contribute to documentation ( instructional, pitch and technical specification ).
- Discuss technical solutions with the Creative Director and provide innovative new ideas.
- Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - SENIOR FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER
The successful candidate will have:
- Solid understanding and experience in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and jquery/javascript.
- Building and developing content management and online shopping systems.
- Must have solid experience creating web graphics, flash and or javascript animations.
- Good knowledge and experience of social media and SEO.
- A good grasp of image editing software - Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Solid and demonstrable Agency/ Client side experience (B-B or B-C).
- Good understanding of composition, colour and general eye for detail.
- Experience working with various online projects such as: websites, microsites, email campaigns, shopping sites - Zencart, bespoke CMS etc.
- Excellent understanding of usability experience & accessibility issues.
- Client facing ability - presenting work at senior client level.
- Good team player, working with the creative studio.
- Experience of working on WordPress and integrating themes.
